Music for 11 films from silent cinema. Curation of the films was made by EYE Film Museum Artist in Residency, Ginta Tinte Vasermane.

When composing music for these films, I wanted to find a sound quality that can shoulder the image - the flickering screen, the hard cuts, the lack of special effects. I decided to record very raw noises and in the process of editing keep close to the directness that the films carried in them.
I was struck by the imagination present in these images, in my compositional process I tried to liberate myself from the sonic images of my surroundings, and recreate the most creative and imaginative noises that my inner ear heard when looking at the images.
